Service Receptionist / Advisor

Tristram Northland is looking for a Service Receptionist / Advisor to join our busy team.

Tristram Northland is a locally owned business that has grown to become one of the largest and well-known vehicle dealerships in Northland. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service and exceeding our customer's expectations. Based in Whangarei, we are the local service agents for the Nissan, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Isuzu, Renault, MG, Holden, Audi & Skoda brands and run a very busy mechanical workshop.

We have an exciting opportunity for a customer service orientated receptionist to join our service department. This exciting role involves all aspects of our aftersales operations and is key to delivering a great customer experience and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

This is a full time role Monday-Friday 7:30am – 5:00pm.

The role will involve:

• Greeting customers in a friendly welcoming manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls for bookings and enquiries.
• Invoice jobs, hand over accounts and take payment.
• Be the main point of contact to customers while their vehicle is in the workshop, providing customers with updates and timeframe of when their vehicle will be completed.
• Accurately booking service and repair appointments.
• Preparation of quotations, costings and invoice processing.
• Liaising between our Workshop Technicians, Service Managers.

Skills & Experience required:

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Professional presentation and reliability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Time management skills, enjoying a wide variety of duties with a can do approach.
• Sound computer skills and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Some knowledge of vehicles and previous Automotive front line service experience advantageous, however not essential.
