Parts Advisor

Tristram Northland (previously Mark Cromie Motor Group) is one of Northland's largest multi franchised car dealerships for Nissan, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Isuzu and Renault, and we are also the service & parts agents for Audi, Skoda and Holden.

Operating out of our purpose-built dealership, we have an excellent opportunity for an individual to join our Parts team as a Parts Advisor.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Building customer relationships through superior customer service
• To actively market the products and services of the Parts Department both externally and internally.
• Supply and invoicing of parts to Trade, Service and Pre-Delivery departments
• Look to maximise part sales where possible.
• Prepare and assist in annual stocktake.
• Utilise manufacturer provided technical assistance.
• Conduct sales transactions with customers by telephone, internet, e-mail, and over the counter.
• Assist (when/if required) in general warehouse operations.

 
About You

• Demonstrated understanding of motor vehicles and mechanical repairs or parts sales.
• Excellent communication skills including building rapport with customers and fellow team members.
• Highly professional and personable.
• Strong systems experience and organisational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to problem solve and excellent accuracy and high attention to detail.
• Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team.
• Strong commitment to work in a safe manner.
• Be reliable, punctual & hardworking.
• Previous automotive parts experience is advantageous.
• Full Driving Licence.

Training and further development in the role will be provided.

This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday to support the Parts business hours of 7.30am to 5.00pm.
